NIMSA is a research network based at the University of Gothenburg and Sahlgrenska University Hospital, with both national and international collaborations.
Our team is currently engaged in three active research projects. We also draw upon the experience and results of three successfully completed projects, which continue to inform and strengthen our ongoing work.
High-quality research in AI and medical imaging relies on secure, structured access to data. We believe that sharing medical images for research should be simple, secure, and organized, without compromising patient confidentiality.
To support this, we use the RECOMIA platform in our projects. RECOMIA is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing research in AI and medical imaging. Its browser-based platform enables safe data sharing and includes tools for both manual annotation and AI-based organ segmentation in CT images.
If you're interested in using RECOMIA in your own research, you can find more information here.
βItβs rewarding to see our research not just published, but actively used by researchers worldwide. Over 75 groups in 35+ countries have already tested our AI tools.β
